How it works
Live listening, session saving, keyboard reading, and melody capture — each designed to give you clear, honest feedback without getting in the way of your practice.
01
Open Live and allow microphone access. Use a quiet room, one singer or instrument at a time, and a consistent distance from the microphone. Automatic listening can be changed in Settings. Tap Pause whenever needed.
02
Hold a comfortable note for about a second to capture an endpoint. Tap Save session at the top of Live. The app pauses, saves and opens Sessions. New entries are marked Just saved. Practice recap offers one observation and one short exercise.
03
The full 88-key overview shows the exact pitch. The enlarged C–B keys stay stationary while octave numbers follow your register. Disable octave-label following in Settings to select octaves from the overview manually.
04
Compose captures one note at a time at the chosen tempo. Finish capture, edit pitch, duration and rests, and use basic score playback. Export MIDI or MusicXML using the share sheet.
Features
Real-time pitch detection shows your note name and frequency as you sing or play, with a glass note flower that responds to your voice.
See your pitch on a full staff and an 88-key piano overview simultaneously, so you always know exactly where you are in the register.
Each saved session includes a practice recap with one observation and one short exercise tailored to what you sang.
Compose mode captures one note at a time. Edit pitch, duration and rests after capture, then export as MIDI or MusicXML.
Sessions and scores are stored on your device. There is no separate account, cloud sync or in-app backup tool.
Detected pitch and range are practice aids, not a voice-type diagnosis or vocal-health assessment. Use comfortable notes and stop if singing feels strained.
