# FREQZ Privacy Policy **Effective date: October 14th 2026** FREQZ is provided by [Legal Owner Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the FREQZ app. ## Your music and settings FREQZ stores your imported music, artwork, track information, playlists, favorites, saved radio stations, audio links, and app preferences locally on your device. These preferences include equalizer settings, audio effects, appearance, and rack arrangement. We do not upload your music library or playlists to a server operated by us. FREQZ does not require an account. When you import music, FREQZ creates a local copy. Files and links shared through the iOS Share Sheet may be temporarily stored in a container shared between FREQZ and its import extension so the app can receive them. Local app data may be included in device or iCloud backups, depending on your Apple settings. ## Internet radio and audio links Internet features connect to third-party services to find stations, play radio, and download audio from links you provide. FREQZ uses Radio Browser to retrieve station information. Requests may include your selected country and, when you play a directory station, its station identifier. Radio Browser may record station selections as part of its click statistics. When you stream a station or open an audio link, the station, audio host, and any delivery providers involved receive the information needed to handle the connection. This can include your IP address, requested address and its parameters, request headers, and technical connection information. These providers may maintain connection logs, measure listening activity, or deliver advertising under their own privacy policies. Advertisements may be included in radio broadcasts. Other providers’ privacy information is available through their respective websites. ## Country and city searches FREQZ uses your device’s region setting to suggest a default country. If you enter a city, FREQZ sends that city and, when selected, the country to Apple’s geocoding service to identify the area for station searches. This feature does not use your device’s GPS location. Apple’s handling of information is described in its [Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). ## Audio processing and motion Equalizer adjustments, audio effects, frequency displays, and left/right channel measurements are processed on your device. FREQZ may use device motion to move decorative light reflections as you tilt your phone. This motion information is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted by FREQZ. Playback information, such as track titles and artists, may be provided to iOS to support Lock Screen and system media controls. ## Analytics, advertising, and purchases FREQZ does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use the app to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising. Radio providers and external websites may have their own advertising and measurement practices, as described above. App Store purchases and payments are handled by Apple. FREQZ does not collect your payment card details. ## Contacting us If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message. We use this information to respond, provide support, and resolve issues. Please avoid sending sensitive information or music files unless they are necessary for your request. ## Retention and deletion Your local library and preferences remain on your device until you remove them or delete the app and its data. You can remove imported tracks, playlists, and saved stations using the app’s available controls. Removing an imported copy does not delete your original source file. Temporary downloads and import files may remain until cleared by the app or operating system. Backups may retain copies according to your backup settings. We retain support correspondence only as reasonably needed to handle your request, maintain relevant records, or meet legal obligations. We cannot directly access or delete your locally stored library. Requests concerning information retained by radio stations, audio hosts, Apple, or other independent providers should be directed to those providers. To stop future internet requests from FREQZ, stop playback and close the app or restrict its network access through available device settings. ## Security FREQZ uses iOS app storage protections and HTTPS connections for supported internet audio and directory requests. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. ## Children’s privacy FREQZ is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through support communications. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address it. ## Changes to this policy We may update this policy when the app or its information practices change.
