Sonapetal Privacy Policy

Sonapetal is provided by Metal Mirror. Contact info@metalmirror.co with privacy or support questions.

Microphone access is used for live pitch analysis and optional melody capture. Microphone audio is processed on your device and discarded. It is not saved as a recording or uploaded. Practice recaps are generated on your device from pitch measurements.

Saved sessions contain dates, duration, note/Hz range, optional target accuracy and optional coaching measurements. Musical scores contain titles, tempo and editable notes. Appearance and listening preferences are stored locally. Unsaved session analysis is held in memory and may be lost when the app closes.

MIDI and MusicXML files are generated when you choose to export a score. You choose where to send them with the system share sheet. The destination service applies its own privacy policy. Local app files follow standard iOS backup behavior. Sonapetal does not provide a separate cloud sync or backup service. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to Apple's backup and restore behavior.

Sonapetal has no account, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDK. The app does not transmit microphone audio, session summaries or scores to the developer. External research/support links open websites with their own privacy practices. Information you choose to email support is used to respond to your request; do not send sensitive recordings or personal information that is not needed for support.

You can pause listening, disable automatic listening and change microphone permission in iOS Settings. Saved summaries and scores remain local. This version does not include an in-app backup, restore or delete-all tool. We do not hold server-side copies of your summaries or scores.

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated.
